A Message From Tony Lopez:

 

Welcome to the Law Offices of Tony S. Lopez, Attorney at Law, P.C.

 

For over two decades, I have practiced law in Laramie, Wyoming.  From 1983 to mid 1984, I was with the Albany County Attorney's Office and prosecuted criminal law.  In 1984, I joined what later bacame the firm of Zimmers and Lopez and remained a partner with George Zimmers for the next 13 years until 1997 when Mr. Zimmers retired from the practice of law.

 

My practice is primarily focused on three areas:  personal injury focusing on wrongful death, truck litigation and automobile accidents, and family law which includes contested divorces, custody issues, child support, modification and a myriad of other things that come under that umbrella.  Finally, my practice is also focused on the defense of felony cases.  I know that if you are facing a felony charge, this is rough, but we will work through this with you.

 

During the course of my twenty-two years of private practice, I have probably represented and settled in excess of 300 personal injury claims and represented at least 600 divorcing parties and have tried 50 divorce trials.  I have also represented and estimated 1000 criminal defendants having taken 100 cases to trial.

 

My method in the practice of law is to be calm, rational and compassionate outside the courtroom, but should the matter have to tried in court, my competitive nature will always rise to the top.
